Alberto Di Fabio was born in Avezzano (AQ) in 1966. He lives and works between Rome and New York.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. His work is inspired by the cosmos and by the elements that make up the world of nature. Between art, science and spirituality his painting technique investigates chemical reactions, mineral fusions, atoms and the neuronal system in relation to the world of astrophysics. Abstract and organic shapes that rotate and vibrate on the canvases in bright and pure colors, create contrasts and harmonic scales, tonal variations and surprising combinations. He meant to induce the visitor to a progressive loss of self-consciousness, a sort of visual trance, a journey to parallel worlds far away in space and time, closer to the quantum essence of the Universe. The matter becomes evanescent and the mind finds a possible conjunction with the astral substance: a passage from the physical state of matter to the liquid and gaseous one, in a sort of permutation and elevation of the soul of the observer.
